GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado (8-16, 4-9 Big Sky) will be on the road for the last time this season as the Bears start the week at Big Sky leading, Weber State (15-8, 10-2 Big Sky) on Thursday, Feb. 16. Tip against the Wildcats starts at 7:00 p.m. from the Dee Events Center.

Scouting Northern Colorado (Game Notes)
- UNC has lost eight of its last nine games heading into this week. Its lone win came at Southern Utah (89-71) on Jan. 28 during the stretch.
- The Bears dropped both its home contests last week to Idaho (88-76) and Eastern Washington (70-44).
- Against the Eagles, UNC produced season lows in points (44) and field goal percentage (28.8%), and three-point field goal percentage (14.3%).
- Northern Colorado's Jordan Davis extends his streak of consecutive games in double figures to 29. Davis, who finished with 15 points against Eastern Washington also had a team-high nine rebounds along with three assists and three steals in the loss.
- UNC has two players in the Top 65 in three-point field goals made per game. DJ Miles ranks 45th in the nation, averaging 2.83 3FG made, while Chaz Glotta sits 62nd, averaging 2.70 3FG made per game.
- As a team, UNC sits 61st in the nation in threes made per game, averaging 8.8.
Scouting Weber State (Game Notes)
- The Wildcats sit atop the Big Sky Conference with a 10-2 league record. Weber State has won seven of its last eight and have gone 5-1 since they last matched up with the Bears.
- WSU is just one of three teams in the conference that average over 80 points per game. The Wildcats are averaging 81.1 ppg, while holding their opponents to just 72.3 ppg, owning the second-best defense in the league.
- In addition, Weber State is the best shooting team in the Big Sky, averaging 49.5% from the field as a team. The Wildcats are paced by Jeremy Senglin, who's averaging 20.7 ppg and Kyndahl Hill's 9.9 ppg.
- Furthermore, the Wildcats lead the nation in 3-point field goal percentage. WSU is 43.2% from beyond the arc, averaging 9.9 threes per game.
Bears' Last Time Out
- Northern Colorado dropped its third straight game last Saturday afternoon to Eastern Washington 70-44.
- Senior forward, Jon'te Dotson knocked down a corner three less than a minute into the game to give UNC it's only lead for the afternoon at 3-0.
- Northern Colorado went into the break trailing EWU 28-20. The offensive woes continued for UNC in the second half as the team went over nine minutes without a field goal. Meanwhile, three-balls were going in from all locations on the court for the Eagles and the deficit for the Bears ballooned to 27 points (59-32) with 6:08 left in the ball game.
- Jordan Davis was just shy of a double-double, ending with 15 points and nine rebounds. Jonah Radebaugh recorded 10 points and hauled in four rebounds and dished out three assists in the loss.
Series History
- Weber State holds the all-time series lead against UNC 16-5 as the teams gear up for game 22 of the matchup.
- The Bears fell to the Wildcats at home earlier this season 74-69. The biggest lead in that game was no more than six points the entire evening. Jordan Davis led all scorers in the loss with 21 points, adding five rebounds and four assists to his stat line.
- In games played at Ogden, Weber State is 10-0 as UNC has yet to win a game in the Dee Events Center.
- The closest the Bears have come to winning at WSU, came in the 2010-11 season, when UNC came up just short, falling 72-71. Overall, Northern Colorado is 1-4 in its last five games against the Wildcats.

- Since joining the Big Sky Conference, Northern Colorado has only had one winning road record and that came in 2009-10 when the team went 9-5.
- In the previous seven seasons, the most road wins any team has had is six, and that was in 2010-11 when UNC won the Big Sky title.
- If the Bears were to win both games this week, they would be tied for the most road victories by any Northern Colorado team in the last six seasons.
Defensive Hiccups
- UNC's defense has had a slight setback over the last three games.
- From the field, UNC has allowed its opponents to shoot an average of 48% and 47% from beyond the arc.
- Last Saturday, Eastern Washington shot a season-high from three-point range on the Bears, finishing the game at 58% (10-of-17). The most three-pointers UNC has allowed in a game came at Montana, when the Griz put up 15.
- Last Thursday, Idaho ended the game 53% from the field, they were the ninth team to shoot over 50% on UNC.
On The Date
- This will be the 24th game played in UNC program history on Feb. 16. Overall, the Bears are 12-11 on the date.
- The first ever game played on Feb. 16 came in the 1922-23 season as UNC hosted Colorado School of Mines. The Bears would win the contest in a 44-6 fashion.
- The last time Northern Colorado played on the date was in 2013-14 hosting Montana State. UNC picked up the win at home over the Bobcats 83-73.
