In Their Words:
Head Coach, Stephen Bidne
"Today the course yielded some low scores and unfortunately we couldn't make a charge and get four low ones together. Even though it's disappointing to drop a place and finish in third, there are still a lot of positives to take away from this week."
"We hit the ball great all three rounds and we're giving ourselves great opportunities which was encouraging to see this early in the spring, but we just had too many mistakes on the greens and just didn't have the self-confidence and belief that we normally have. We have a couple weeks to gear up for our next event in Sedona, which is a beautiful tree-lined course, so we'll get back to work and polish things up so we can come out firing."
Up Next:
The women's golf team has a few weeks off before the hit the links again. UNC will travel to Sedona, Arizona to compete in Northern Arizona's Red Rock Invitational on March 3-4.
