GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado men's basketball (1-1, 0-0 Big Sky) begins its five-game road swing out west, beginning with Santa Clara (1-2, 0-0 WCC) on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 8:00 p.m. (MT) and then No. 10 Arizona (3-0,0-0 Pac 12) on Monday, Nov. 21 at 7:00 p.m.

Scouting Northern Colorado (Game Notes)
- Northern Colorado is coming off a 94-73 win over Colorado Christian at home on Wednesday. It was the new head coach, Jeff Linder's first-career win at UNC.
- The Bears shot a solid 45.5% from the field and 41.7% from beyond the arc in the first half, while limiting Colorado Christian to 33.3% from the floor and 10.0% on three-point field goals.
- UNC is led by sophomore guard, Jordan Davis who is currently averaging 23.5 points per game and is on a two-game streak of scoring 20+ points. Davis dropped a career-high 25 points at Butler in the season opener and poured in 22 points in the win over Colorado Christian.
- Northern Colorado currently ranks third in the Big Sky in three-pointers per game, averaging 9.0 makes from beyond the arc.
Scouting Santa Clara
- The Broncos are currently 1-2 under first year head coach Herb Sendek. Santa Clara competed in the 50th Annual Cable Car Classic, picking up a win over Northern Arizona 67-64, but dropped games to UC Davis (63-58) and Tennessee State (69-61).
- The Broncos have three players scoring in double figures led by junior forward Jarvis Pugh who is averaging 15.0 points per game and a team-high 7.0 rebounds per game. Senior guard Jared Brownridge is scoring at a 13.7 ppg clip and sophomore Henrk Jadersten is averaging 11.7 ppg and shooting 51.9 percent from the floor.
- The Broncos return their top eight scorers from a season ago, but are missing a couple of those regulars. The returners are headlined by two-time first-team All-West Coast Conference guard Jared Brownridge, who is already the second-leading scorer in school history with 1,757 points.
Scouting Arizona
- Arizona is currently 3-0 on the season after picking up a win over Sacred Heart on Friday night, 95-65. They also knocked off No. 12/9 Michigan State (65-63) in Hawaii and opened the year with a victory over Cal State Chico (78-70).
- The Wildcats are currently ranked No. 10 in the nation and are led by Junior Parker Jackson-Cartwright who will look to carry over his three-point shooting from the second half of last season to the start of 2016-17. He led all Pac-12 players in three-point field goal percentage in league play, connecting on 48.6 percent of his attempts (18-37) from deep.
- The Wildcats return six scholarship players from a season ago and will look to replace the numbers of the 2016 senior class of Kaleb Tarczewski, Gabe York, Ryan Anderson and Mark Tollefsen. The foursome combined to record more than 50 percent of Arizona's points, rebounds, blocks and made three-point field goals a year ago.
Bears' Last Time Out
- Northern Colorado picked up a 94-73 win over Colorado Christian at home on Wednesday. Everyone on the team produced as UNC had five players finish in double figures.
- It all started with the spark of Jordan Davis. Davis' seven straight points helped the Bears turn the corner in the first half, sparking a nine-minute, 37-8 run for the team. Davis finished with 22 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
- Redshirt freshman guard, Jonah Radebaugh produced his first-career double-double, as he hauled in a game-high 11 rebounds to compliment his 10 points in the win.
Double-Double
- Redshirt freshman guard, Jonah Radebaugh recorded his first-career double-double on Wednesday against Colorado Christian.
- Radebaugh, a walk-on, hauled in a game-high 11 rebounds along with 10 points in the 94-73 win over the Cougars.
- The redshirt freshman looks to be a staple in the starting lineup for UNC this season and already averages the most minutes played per game on the rosters with 27.0.
- Radebaugh played a game-high 30 minutes in the season-opening loss at Butler.
Beyond The Arc
- Northern Colorado was feeling it from beyond the arc on Wednesday. The Bears shot 43.8% from three-point land, knocking down 14-of-32 shots, led by redshirt sophomore guard, Chaz Glotta who finished 4-of-7 on three-point field goals.
- 42 of the team's 94 points on Wednesday came via three-pointers.
Jack Of All Trades
- Sophomore guard, Jordan Davis proved on Wednesday he will be UNC's Jack-Of-All-Trades. Besides his game-high 22 points, he dished out a team-best seven assists and grabbed six rebounds.
- Davis currently leads the team in points, averaging 23.5 a game, as well as assists, averaging 4.0 assists per game.
Young Guns
- 70 of the Bears' 94 points scored on Wednesday against Colorado Christian came from sophomores and freshmen.
- Freshman guard, Mike Ranson led the way for the first-year players, scoring 11 points, while Davis and redshirt sophomore forward, Ibrahim Sylla led the second-year guys. Davis poured in 22 points, while Sylla dropped 12 points and added in nine rebounds.
