The Bears and the Pioneers tip at 7:00 p.m. at Bank of Colorado Arena, Wednesday Dec. 16. The game can also be watched on Comcast (CET) channel 900.
GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado (3-6) wraps up its non-conference play at home when Denver (7-3) comes to Bank of Colorado Arena on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.

Scouting The Bears (Game Notes) (Big Sky Notes)
- For the first time since the 2009-10 season the Bears picked up a key non-conference win over Colorado State, 73-64. It's the first time under head coach B.J. Hill that UNC has downed CSU.
- Northern Colorado currently has five players averaging in double-figures in scoring.
- After sitting out a full year due to NCAA transfer rules, Anglin finally got to suit up and play against Colorado State. Anglin quieted all skeptics in his 19-point performance, including scoring 16 in the first half.
- Wilson had his second game of the season with 20 points or more in the win over CSU. Through nine games, Wilson has scored at least 10 points or more in every contest.
- UNC currently shoots 38.6% on three-pointers, climbing them up the national rankings to 63rd in the NCAA.
- This is the second Summit League team this season that the Bears have faced. UNC lost earlier in the year to Nebraska-Omaha and is 138-215 all-time against Summit League opponents and currently 0-4 against the conference under Hill.
Scouting the Pioneers (Game Notes)
- The Pios have had a solid start to their season, boasting a 7-3 overall record, including a run of five straight wins from Nov. 8 to the 28th. DU is coming off back-to-back wins over San Diego and fellow Big Sky opponent, Weber State.
- DU IS led by Nate Engesser who is averaging 15.9 points. Joe Rosga is averaging 9.5 points, while Marcus Byrd is chipping in 8.7 points a game.
- Denver is 18th in the country in scoring defense allowing just 60.4 points a game (based on games played through Dec. 13).
- The Pioneers defeated UNC in its last meeting on Dec. 14, 2011 in Greeley 71-65.
- DU has nine players averaging over 10 minutes per game.
Welcome Dallas Anglin
- No one was sure what to expect from junior guard, Dallas Anglin in his debut with the Bears. After sitting out a full year due to NCAA transfer rules, Anglin finally got to suit up and play against Colorado State.
- Anglin quieted all skeptics in his 19-point performance, including scoring 16 in the first half. Anglin was near perfect from the floor in the first 20 minutes, shooting 5-of-7 from the field, including 3-of-3 from beyond the arc. The junior also finished 4-of-4 from the free throw line in the win.
- Northern Colorado is Anglin's fourth school in as many years. The redshirt junior, began at Hofstra, had a stint at College of Southern Idaho, and then went on to Southern Miss before coming to UNC.
- At College of Southern Idaho. In just one season, he helped the Golden Eagles to a 27-5 overall record and a berth in the Region 18 championship game, averaging 13.4 points, 3.9 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals along the way.
Streaking
- Junior guard Jordan Wilson currently sits at nine games on the year with 10 points or more and has two, 20 point games.
- Last season's longest streak was 7 games, held by former guard, Tevin Svihovec.
- Wilson dropped 20 points in the win over Colorado State, his second 20 point game of the season, with the first in the loss at UC-Riverside. Wilson hit on three straight buckets down the stretch and pitched in two free throws with a minute to go, to all but seal the win against the Rams.
- Wilson is the second active leading scorer on the team, averaging 15.0 ppg and lead the team in assists, with 3.4 apg.
- The junior is currently climbing the ranks of the Division I Top 10 list in assists (ranks 5th with 174) and Scoring Average (averaging 8.8 points in his career).
In-State Foe
- This will be the 122nd meeting between Denver and UNC, with DU leading the all-time series 76-45.
- The game played between the two teams came in 2011 with the Pioneers winning in Greeley, 71-65.
- The last time UNC downed Denver came in the 2009-10 season when current CU men's coach Tad Boyle was leading the Bears. Northern Colorado was able to pull off the win at home, 72-57.

- The television agreement between the University of Northern Colorado and Comcast continues this winter with the broadcast of a combined 10 men's and women's games and began on December 8 with the women's team taking on Colorado State. Both in-state matchups with Colorado State (Dec. 13) and Denver (Dec. 16) for the men will be featured on Comcast (CET).

We Beat The Rams
- Northern Colorado used a coming out party for junior guard, Dallas Anglin (19 points) and another strong performance from fellow junior guard Jordan Wilson, (20 points) to hold off CSU at home, 73-64. UNC held the Rams to just 38.6% shooting on the night and out-rebounded the team from Fort Collins, who ranked 26th in the NCAA in rebounding, 41-34.
