Northern Colorado women's basketball faces Colorado on Thursday at CU
GREELEY, Colo. -- Northern Colorado women's basketball will put its 2-0 record to the test on Thursday when they head west to take on the Buffalo's from CU. The Bears who have defeated Denver and Western State face their biggest test so far against Colorado.

The Match Up
Northern Colorado comes into Thursday night's game with a 2-0 record winning at Denver and vs Western State. UNC also started the 2014-15 at 2-0.
Colorado has played only one game so far this season. The Buffs defeated Loyola Marymount at home 92-81. CU was picked ninth in the PAC 12 this season.
Scouting the Buffalos
Colorado has had five days to prepare for the Bears, last playing on Saturday against Loyola Marymount, defeating them 92-81 at home.
CU shot an outstanding 46.0 percent from the field including going 8-for-15 from downtown.
The Buffs had five different players finish in double digits scoring, led by Kennedy Leonard's 18 and Lauren Huggins 16. Leonard also recorded eight assists in the game.
Alexis Robinson led the team with seven rebounds vs LMU, three of them being offensive.
Coming into the season the PAC 12 media and coaches predicted the team to finish ninth in the conference.
Against the PAC 12
UNC is 14-22 all-time against PAC 12 schools. Last year the Bears played just one PAC 12 school, and that was in the last game of the year. Northern Colorado traveled to UCLA for the third round of the WNIT, falling to the Bruins 74-60.
On This Date
Northern Colorado is playing on November 19 for the first time in 11 years. The last time the team played on the date they traveled to Nebraska and fell to the Cornhuskers 89-46. All-time the team is 4-2 on the date.
