GREELEY, Colo—Northern Colorado volleyball faces another tough weekend of Big Sky Conference play with a home-road split going to Sacramento State on Thursday, October 15 and returning home to host North Dakota on Saturday, October 17.

The Bears will be looking for both Kendra Cunningham and Alex Kloehn to repeat last week's performance.

Cunningham led the team, averaging 13.5 kills over the two matches including a team high 18 kills versus Idaho State, while adding in 13 digs for her eighth double-double of the year.

Kloehn averaged 11 kills and five total blocks in the two matches. She led the team 13 kills against Weber State and tied a career-high with seven total blocks in the match as well.

Sacramento State enters Thursday night's match with the same conference record as UNC of 3-3. The Hornets are led by senior Lauren Kissel and her 4.01 kills per set and .311 hitting percentage. Setting up Kissel and the rest of the teams attack is Kennedy Kurtz who averages 11.00 assists per set, which ranks third in the Big Sky.

North Dakota is once again one of the top defensive teams in the conference ranked first in digs per set (16.81) and sixth in blocks (2.24). UND is led by the duo of senior McKenzie Hart and sophomore Faith Dooley. Hart leads all of Division I football in digs averaging 6.10 digs per set. Dooley is a do it all player for North Dakota leading the team with 2.90 kills per set and 1.10 blocks per set. Dooley and teammate Chelsea Moser are two of the most efficient hitting players in the Big Sky. Dooley ranks fourth hitting .338 and Moser eighth at .297.

Saturday's match is a part of a football-volleyball doubleheader for homecoming. The football team will take on UC Davis at 1:05 p.m. with volleyball first serve at 7:00 p.m. Fans who attend the football game can receive free entry into the volleyball match. All they have to do is take their ticket to the Bank of Colorado box office and exchange the football ticket for a volleyball ticket.
