In 2017, J. Landham marks his second season as part of the Northern Colorado soccer program, where he primarily works with the goalkeepers.
From 2012-15, Landham coached on a myriad of levels throughout the soccer world. He has served as the assistant coach at several high schools, junior and club programs, and at the NCAA Division II level with his alma mater, Union University.
As Union's varsity assistant coach and head goalkeeper coach, Landham helped lead the Bulldogs to a 2012 NCAA men's soccer mideast region tournament championship, and a third-place finish in the national tournament. Goalkeeper Rainer Pires finished as the all-tournament Goalkeeper.
A distinguished goalkeeper in his own right, Landham graduated from Union University in Jackson, Tenn., in 2012. As the Bulldogs' net minder for all four years, Landham earned Freshman Athlete of Year, seven conference Player of the Week awards, and three Goalkeeper of the Year honors, and was elected team captain his junior and senior years.
Upon graduation, Landham spent two weeks with the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. He also received a first-team goalkeeper award at the Orange Beach Alabama Men’s Tourbeau Soccer Combine.
Landham holds a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine and exercise science. What's more, he is currently working on his master’s degree in recreation and sports science in soccer, at Ohio University, in Partnership with the NSCAA. He also holds certificates in crossfit and weightlifting.
