Â
"Katie is no stranger to Colorado as she was raised in this great state! Her strengths and passion in the player development area are going to pay dividends for our program. Katie is familiar with the Big Sky Conference as she had a very successful career at Montana State and is one of the best to ever put on an MSU jersey," Mattio said. "Her nine years of professional playing experience studying the international game will really be a critical component in helping provide a path for the players in our program that aspire to play at the pro level after college. We are excited to welcome Katie and her husband Chris to UNC!"
