Barnak Joins UNC Golf Programs as Assistant Coach

GREELEY, Colo. - Northern Colorado golf has announced the promotion of Rosa Barnak to assistant coach for the UNC golf programs.
Barnak joined the Bears in January 2026 as a volunteer coach after previously serving on staff at Sam Houston State, where she helped the Bearkats to three top 10 finishes during their fall campaign.
Prior to beginning her coaching career, Barnak had a five-year playing career at Florida Atlantic. She competed in 107.5 rounds, the most in program history, and finished her career sixth all-time in scoring average at 77.07 and second with 207 career birdies.
Barnak recorded two top 10 finishes and three top 15 finishes during her senior season, including a career-best second-place finish at the Pat Bradley Invitational. She also finished fourth at the 2021 Low Country Intercollegiate and carded a career-best 68 during the tournament.
