Graham Nugent was promoted to Associate Director of Athletics for Facilities and Events in July 2025. He is entering his tenth year on staff at Northern Colorado after coming to Greeley from Wichita State.

Prior to his promotion, Graham served as Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Events. Graham is responsible for managing all aspects of athletic event logistics, including set-up, tear-down, and overseeing the operational planning for Division I events and championships at UNC.

A senior leader within the athletics department, Graham plays a key role in overseeing capital projects and donor-funded initiatives. He also manages athletic facility maintenance and works closely with campus health and safety to ensure events are executed in a safe and welcoming environment. Graham is a contributor to the Big Sky Conference, assisting with planning and logistics for championships as part of the Championship Task Force.

At Wichita State, he served as a Graduate Assistant for Facilities for two years assisting the Director of Facilities and the Assistant Director of Facilities with the planning, setup and management of all athletic events hosted by WSU. During his tenure as a Graduate Assistant he provided day to day maintenance on all athletic facilities and worked with the University Physical Plant to make sure all work orders were complete.

Prior to WSU, Graham was a student worker for facility management at Ashford University where he assisted in trade work daily, which included, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical, Painting etc.

A native of Dublin, Ireland, Nugent is a 2016 graduate of Wichita State University, where he earned his Master’s Degree in Sport Management. He is also a 2014 graduate of Ashford University, where he earned a bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Forbes School of Business and also a second bachelors in Sport Management.
