2010-11: Timed a 24.34 in the 50 freestyle for the fifth-fastest time in school history and also ranks third in the 100 free after touching the wall in 52.23... At the MPSF Championship, swam the anchor in the 200 medley (1:46.15) and 200 freestyle (1:35.52) relays that both set the school record... In the 100 free, finished 19th overall at the MPSF Championship with her career-best time of 52.23... Won the 50 free at the Intermountain Shootout (Oct. 8-9), Northern Iowa Duals (Nov. 13) and Colorado State Invitational (Nov. 20) and was also victorious in the 100 free at Northern Iowa... Part of the 400 freestyle relay team that won against New Mexico (Nov. 4), at Northern Iowa, at Colorado State and against New Mexico State (Jan. 21)... Also on the 200 and 400 medley relay teams that won at several meets.
2009-10: As a sophomore, JJ posted the sixth-fastest time in school history in the 50 free after clocking a 24.44 and her 53.12 in the 100 free also sits as the ninth-fastest in Northern Colorado history... In the 50 free at the Conference USA Championships, she finished 26th overall and was 29th in the 200 free with a personal best time of 1:58.79... Also finished 24th in the 100 free after swimming a 53.57.
2008-09: Jennifer put in her best time in the 50-meter Freestyle (24.85) at the Conference-USA Women's Championships ... Also swam her best time in the 200-meter Freestyle (2:00.23) at the Conference-USA Women's Championships.
High School: Earned four letters each in swimming & diving and lacrosse and three in field hockey for Grandview High School... Was team captain in 2008 and also named the team's MVP... Qualified for state in both 2007 and 2008 and holds the school record in the 200 free relay... In field hockey, was named MVP of both the 2005 and 2007 teams and was team captain in 2007... In lacrosse, was team MVP in both 2007 and 2008, as well as captain both seasons... Named to the All-State lacrosse team as a senior.
Personal: Is one of three children of Pam and Dave Smith... Born July 25, 1990 in Aurora, Colo... Is majoring in sports and exercise science.
