2010-11: Improved her times throughout her freshman season, ending the year with an 18:04.29 in the 1650 free at the MPSF Championship... Also swam a careeer-best 11:16.95 in the 1000 free at the Maverick Meet (Jan. 15) and posted a 5:32.28 in the 500 free at San Diego State (Jan. 8).
High School: Earned four letters in swimming for Grandview High School... Also played field hockey... Qualified for state all four seasons... Was team captain as a senior... Grandview has won the state championship every year since 2003.
Personal: Is the youngest of three children of Alison Essig-Peppard and Thomas Peppard with two older brothers, Brian and Alec... Born July 19, 1992 in Manhattan... Plans on majoring in exercise science.
