High School:Â AÂ determined and consistent distance runner from Champion High School in Boerne, Texas, Albright had a decorated high school career across cross country and track. She was a key contributor to multiple state-level appearances, finishing in the top 20% at the UIL 5A State Cross Country Meet each year and leading her team as captain. Her senior year was highlighted by a personal-best time of 18:55 at the state cross country meet, a moment she describes as the culmination of years of dedication. Kynley also earned multiple academic honors while balancing the demands of elite competition.
Personal:Â Daughter of Jessica and Shawn Albright, both alumni of the University of Texas Health, Kynley has one younger brother, Landon. She chose the University of Northern Colorado for its welcoming team atmosphere, strong coaching staff, and supportive academic environment. Majoring in Health Sciences, she plans to pursue a career as a physical therapist or sports medicine physician. When she's not running, Kynley enjoys shopping, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and staying active outdoors.
