Bio
2018-19:
Indoor: Lyon ran 55m, 200m, 60m, 4x400, and participated in high jump as well too. Lyon ran his personal fastest time for 55m at his first meet, the Wyoming Power Meet. He ran a 6.48 in the preliminaries for third place and ended up receiving 5th place overall. He also jumped a 1.90m at Wyoming for placing 2nd and for his personal highest as well. At the Big Sky Indoor Championship Lyon placed 14th for 60m fir his personal fastest time at 6.97.
Outdoor: Lyon participated in 8 total meets during the outdoor season including his appearance at the Adidas/Steve Scott Invitational and the Big Sky Championship. He ran in the 4x100, 200m, and 400m for the outdoor season. At the Adidas/Steve Scott Invitational Lyon ran his fastest 400m at 48.06. And, he then made a big appearance at the Big Sky Championship with placing 7th in the preliminary rounds at 21.52 for a personal record and then went on to receive 4th place overall in the finals.
High School: Lyon attended Fountain Fort- Carson High School where there he earned overall 7 letters between track and field as well as football. He currently holds eight plus records in track and field.
Personal: Lyon was born on August 21st, 2000. He is the son of Christopher Lyon and Joy Smith, and he has one sister as well as one brother. His major here at UNC is Psychology.
