2016-17: Played in all 10 tournaments throughout the year as a Junior…He had six Top 50 finishes this season…His highest finish came at the Ballyneal Challenge is September 2016 finishing 8^th…He shot a season low 69 on two separate occasions this season…He finished 27^th at the Big Sky Championships in April…Sam was awarded with Big Sky All-Conference Honorable Mention honors after the season.

2015-16: Finished the season making starts in all 10 tournaments throughout the season ... Had a strong finish in the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational (T35th) to help lead the team to a 7th place finish ... Finished the Big Sky Championship in 38th place to help the team place 4th.

2014-15: Placed in the Top 25 at the Big Sky Championships in his true freshman season, tying for 25th overall...Low round of the year came at the Sacramento State Invite where he shot at 73 (+1) and finished in a tie for 54th overall. Played in all 11 tournaments for UNC.

High School: Played on the team all 4 years of high school career, played on varsity team for last 3 years and lettered in all 3 years as well. Qualified for the State Championships the last 3 years placing 41st, 24th and 10th respectively. 2013 was the number one player in the Centennial League with a scoring average of 70.5.

Member of the Rocky Mountain Junior Tour as well as the Colorado Junior Golf Association. Won two tournaments on each tour and in 2013 was the current points leader on the
