2008 OUTLOOK: Ahighly-touted junior-college transfer, he's expected to contributeimmediately this season... Has a feather-soft touch from the floorand quick handles when he drives... He's a quiet player, but helets his game do the talking.
JUNIOR COLLEGE (MesaCC): Was one of the top junior-college players in thecountry the past two seasons... Scored a game-high 26 points andgrabbed seven rebounds in mid-April 2008, leading the ArizonaAll-Stars to a 101-97 upset victory against the NJCAA Division IAll-Stars... Averaged 17.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and2.8 steals his final year at Mesa Community College.
PERSONAL: Son of Johnand Becky Peña... Majoring in recreation at NorthernColorado... Has three siblings ages 24, 23 and 18... Also recruitedby Rice, Arizona State, Texas Tech and Northern Arizona.
