Brad Klump enters his fourth season with the UNC men's basketball program and first as the Director of Basketball Operations after being elevated to the position in 2020 by head coach Steve Smiley.
Klump moves into the Director of Operations position after serving the last two years as the team's Director of Player Development. He oversees the functioning of the men's program including day-to-day business operations, team travel and management of the program's student managers. Klump will also coordinate the annual Steve Smiley summer camps.
Prior to returning to UNC Klump was an assistant varsity coach at Colorado Academy.
From 2012-2014 Klump was a member of the Centre College Basketball team. Before playing at Centre, he played at Colorado Academy where he received the coaches award during his senior year.
Klump is a two time graduate of UNC, earning his bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in business and master's in sports administration.
