Denker Named Big Sky Player of the Week

GREELEY, Colo. – Quinn Denker has been named the Big Sky Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday, following his dominant performance in the Bears' road win at Colorado.
Denker turned in one of the best all-around performances of his career in Boulder, posting a career-high 33 points to go with eight rebounds and eight assists while leading Northern Colorado to its first victory at Colorado since 1935. The graduate guard controlled the game from start to finish, showcasing his scoring efficiency, playmaking, and leadership against a Power Four opponent.
With the honor, Denker has now earned three Big Sky Player of the Week awards this season, becoming the third Bear to accomplish the feat in as many seasons. He joins Langston Reynolds, who earned three honors during the 2024-25 season, and Saint Thomas, who collected six during the 2023-24 campaign.
The Bears return to action this week as they open Big Sky Conference play on the road before returning home later in the month.
