- Recorded two tackles in his collegiate debut at Northern Arizona, posting season highs in tackles in limited action.
- Gained valuable game experience late in the season.
- Played three seasons of varsity football at Thompson Valley High School under head coach Jamie Steele.
- Earned First Team All-Conference and First Team All-State honors, and was named the Longs Peak Defensive Player of the Year following his senior season.
- As a senior he helped lead the Eagle to an undefeated season and a State Championship.
- His greatest came in the state championship game where he came down with a pick-six to secure the win.
