- Van Weelden proved to be a consistent all-around player for the Bears, averaging 6.0 points, 0.8 assists, and 2.9 rebounds for the Bears.
- Played 27 minutes in the overtime win against Big 12 opponent BYU on Nov. 23, scoring six points on 66.7% field goal and three point shooting.
- Contributed 10 points in the 140-26 win against Central Christian on Nov. 29.
- Averaged 13 points in the two games during the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge, going eight-of-14 from beyond the arc and shooting 50% from the field. On top of having an offensive show out, Ella also added five assists, nine rebounds, and four steals.
- Recorded a season high 34 minutes of game action in the win against Eastern Washington on Jan. 25
