2009 Western Wrestling Conference All-Conference First Team: April 8, 2009
2009-10: Became the first All-American in Northern Colorado history since the return to Division I, finishing seventh at the NCAA Championship... Was an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship and knocked off the No. 8, 9, 10 and 12 seeds at the championship en route to earning the first Division I All-American honors in 40 years at Northern Colorado. He went 5-2 at the NCAA Championship to end his season with a 29-15 record... His 29 wins was the most for any Northern Colorado wrestler... Ended the year ranked 14th in the NCAA RPI at 157 pounds... Tallied a mark of 5-1 in WWC action... Was named the WWC Wrestler of the Week after his wins over Ohio and #5 Minnesota...
2008-09: Won 12 straight heading into the NCAA West Regionals... Finished with a season record of 14-4 due to two wins at the NCAA West Regionals defeating Tyson Reiner from Northern Iowa in the finals... Qualified for the NCAA Championships finishing with a record of 0-2... Tallied a total of five pins for the Bears during the season, tying for the team lead with two others... Was named to the Western Wrestling All-Conference First Team.
2007-08: Posted a record of 18-9 as a freshman, including two pins and one major decision... Won five of his final six bouts en route to a third-place finish at the Oregon Classic... Also went 2-2 at the Cliff Keen Invitational in Las Vegas.
High School: Named to all-state team three times ... Three time state champion ... Placed second at state championship in 2004 ... Graduated with a 191-9 record.
