BOULDER, Colo. - Northern Colorado men's golf opened play at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational on Tuesday at Boulder Country Club, with the Bears carding a 2-over-par team score to sit tied for 10th on the leader board after day one.

Campbell McFadden led the way for Northern Colorado, finishing the day tied for fourth at 6-under 134 after carding rounds of 68 and 66.

Cooper Tate finished tied for 39th at 1-over 141, while Tommie Clark sits tied for 50th at 2-over 142 after a 3-under 67 in the second round. Matias Koropeski finished the day tied for 77th at 7-over 147, and Kaelen Dulany is tied for 87th at 9-over 149.

Northern Colorado enters Wednesday's final round at 2-over, looking to climb the team leader board while making a push up the individual standings at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational.
