GREELEY, Colo. – The University of Northern Colorado Athletics Department is excited to announce its annual Building Champions Giving Campaign, taking place October 6-9. This four-day campaign is dedicated to raising funds to support the more than 400 student-athletes who proudly represent UNC locally and around the country.
Donations will go toward various initiatives identified by each team to help student-athletes excel in their academic and athletic pursuits. Throughout the campaign, donors will also have opportunities to double their impact through generous matching gifts from dedicated supporters.
This year's campaign will feature challenges designed to bring the UNC community together and encourage donors to rally behind their favorite teams.
Unleash the Bears – Rally Your Pack
All UNC teams will compete to bring in the most donors throughout the campaign. The top three teams will earn additional funds to support their programs:
-
1st Place: $3,000
-
2nd Place: $1,500
-
3rd Place: $500
Bear Strong – Power Hour
The final day of the campaign will feature a special Power Hour from 3-4 p.m. During this hour, gifts will be matched 2:1 up to a $5,000 matching cap.
Power Hour gifts are limited to $250 per gift and $500 per person, giving donors another opportunity to maximize their impact and help UNC Athletics finish the campaign strong.
Your support is an investment in the growth and success of our future leaders. By joining UNC Athletics for the Building Champions campaign, you are helping provide the resources and opportunities student-athletes need to become champions in competition, champions in the classroom and champions in life.
Make sure to mark your calendars for October 6-9 and join the Bears in Building Champions.
