Fargo, ND native and Assistant VP for Development Jenny Shoop is as good as any UNC blue and gold fan that you’ll find in the Northern Colorado community. Jenny first came to UNC as a student athlete, recruited to play for the women’s golf team, and chose to make Greeley her new home. A well-known face and name among many loyal Bears fans, Jenny serves as a senior member of both the athletics and development teams. Many of the programs and scholarships that support current student athletes are due to Jenny’s leadership in the UNC donor community, including the launch of UNC’s Women’s Walk, now an annual event that raises funds for female student athletes.
As Senior Director, Jenny oversees all of UNC’s NCAA athletics fundraising and donor engagement, including setting the strategy for major gifts development, annual giving programs and donor support for capital projects. She works closely with athletics administration and team coaches to help donors find their passion in supporting the academic and athletic success of UNC’s student athletes.
