Stone Named UNC Athlete of the Month for April

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado baseball student-athlete Jaden Stone put together a standout month in April, leading the Bears offensively with a.486 batting average across nine starts.
Stone collected 18 hits in 37 at-bats, including four extra-base hits, while scoring eight runs and driving in three. He consistently reached base throughout the month, posting a .558 on-base percentage behind four walks and two hit-by-pitches, providing steady production in the lineup.
Defensively, Stone was equally dependable, finishing the month with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. His all-around consistency and impact helped spark the Bears throughout April and made him one of the team's most reliable performers during the stretch.
Stone was also recognized for his efforts by being named Summit League Peak Performer Player of the Week.
