FARMINGTON, Utah – Three Bears earned recognition on the Big Sky All-Conference teams, league officials announced Friday afternoon.
Junior forward Tatum West was named to the Big Sky Women's Basketball Second Team All-Conference and also earned a spot on the All-Defensive Team. West has been a key contributor for the Bears all season, making a strong impact on both ends of the floor. She recorded her ninth double-double of the year in Monday's regular-season finale against Montana and enters postseason play nearly averaging a double-double with 10.9 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Her consistent presence in the paint and on the boards has been a steady force for the Bears throughout the season.
Neenah George and Heather Baymon both received All-Conference Honorable Mention honors. Baymon has provided a reliable offensive spark off the bench, averaging 11.5 points per game this season. She also set a new career high with 29 points against Montana earlier in the season.
George has delivered steady and impactful performances throughout the year as well. The sophomore guard is averaging 12.7 points per game and has repeatedly stepped up in key moments, making clutch plays that have helped drive the Bears success this season.
These honors highlight the Bears dedication, hard work, and the strong culture within the program.
