Three Bears Named to CSC Academic All-District Men’s Basketball Team

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado men's basketball placed three student-athletes on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, highlighted by Quinn Denker advancing to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Graduate guard Quinn Denker leads the group with a 3.80 undergraduate GPA and a 4.00 graduate GPA in Sport Coaching. Denker, a NABC All-District selection, five-time Big Sky Player of the Week, and Lou Henson Player of the Year Award finalist, averaged 19.2 points and 7.0 assists per game while breaking both the single-game and single-season assist records at Northern Colorado. He surpassed 1,600 career points and ranks among the nation's leaders in assists, earning advancement to the Academic All-America ballot.
Senior forward Brock Wisne earned Academic All-District honors with a 3.65 GPA in Business Administration, starting all 31 games during the 2025-26 season and playing a key role in Northern Colorado's 20-12 campaign.
Sophomore forward Ring Nyeri also received Academic All-District recognition, posting a 3.93 GPA in Psychology while appearing in all 32 games with 24 starts.
The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate high achievement both academically and athletically. Honorees advancing to the Academic All-America ballot will be considered among the nation's top student-athletes, with the final list announced at a later date.
