PREVIEW: Erokhina Set for NCAA Championships in Atlanta

GREELEY, Colo. — Maria Erokhina will represent Northern Colorado at the 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, competing in the breaststroke events across Thursday and Friday.
Hosted by Georgia Tech at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, the four-day championship meet (March 18-21) brings together college swimming's elite.
Erokhina will compete in the 100 breaststroke on Thursday, March 19, before returning to the pool for the 200 breaststroke on Friday, March 20. Prelims for both events are scheduled for 8 a.m. MT, with finals set for 4 p.m. MT.
A senior and one of the most accomplished swimmers in program history, Erokhina enters the national meet ranked among the top competitors in both events. She holds a seed time of 59.96 in the 100 breaststroke (43rd) and 2:10.84 in the 200 breaststroke (53rd).
Erokhina's qualification continues a historic stretch for Northern Colorado swimming, highlighting the program's growth and presence on the national stage.
All sessions of the championships will be streamed live on ESPN+, with prelims each morning and finals each evening.
