Bears Set to Face Air Force in WNIT First Round

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado women's basketball will face in-state opponent Air Force in the opening round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT), as the postseason bracket was announced Monday.
The Bears enter postseason play following one of its strongest seasons in recent years, marking the program's 14th all-time postseason appearance. The WNIT selection extends the Bears' season and provides another opportunity to compete on a national stage.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. MDT at Clune Arena.
ABOUT THE WNIT: The Women's National Invitational Tournament is a 48-team postseason tournament featuring programs from across Division I women's basketball. Teams compete in a single-elimination format, with games hosted at campus sites.
