PREVIEW: Swim & Dive Set to Host Final Dual of 2025-26 Season

GREELEY, Colo. – The UNC Swim & Dive team will celebrate their seniors on Saturday, hosting Utah Tech for the final home dual of the season.
ABOUT THE MEET: Saturday's home dual is free for fans. For fans unable to attend, the dual will be livestreamed on the Northern Colorado YouTube Channel.
The meet will start at 10 a.m. The team will be honoring their four seniors, Meredith Clabaugh, Maria Erokhina, Rachel Ley, and Cheyanna Cordova, before the start of the meet.
SCOUTING THE TRAILBLAZERS: Uth Tech is eighth in the MPSF in dual rankings with a 2-6-1 record. They recently lost to Northern Arizona 69-183 last weekend.
LAST TIME OUT: Northern Colorado swimming & diving posted several strong individual performances Saturday morning but came up short in a 179-121 dual loss to Colorado State at the Moby Aquatic Center, highlighted by multiple event wins across the pool and boards. Maria Erokhina led the Bears with first-place finishes in both the 100-yard (1:03.63) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:19.74), while Kyra Rabess anchored the freestyle group by winning the 500-yard (5:11.44) and 1,000-yard freestyle (10:38.23) and adding a runner-up finish in the 200 free. Ellyson Lombardi also claimed an event victory in the 200-yard butterfly (2:04.54), with additional points coming from Avi Tromp, Agathi Manoli, Hlaa Diab, and depth across multiple events. On the boards, Violet Noel continued her strong season with a second-place finish on the 3-meter and a third-place showing on the 1-meter, rounding out a competitive showing for the Bears despite the final score.
UP NEXT: The Bears will head to Texas to compete in the MPSF Conference Championships Feb. 25-28.
