LAST TIME OUT: Northern Colorado wrapped up its first Big Sky Road swing with a split in Utah. The Bears opened the trip against Utah Tech on Oct. 1, falling 3-1 before responding with a 3-0 sweep over Southern Utah on Oct. 3. Against the Thunderbirds, Alayna Tessena led the Bears offensively with 12 kills, while UNC received balanced contributions throughout the lineup. The victory moved Northern Colorado to 3-1 in conference play and gave the Bears momentum heading into their return to Greeley.

THE OPPONENTS: Eastern Washington enters Thursday's match up with an 8-9 overall record and a 2-3 mark in Big Sky Conference play. The Eagles are currently on a two-match losing streak but have found success away from home this season, posting a 3-2 road record.

Idaho enters Thursday's match up with a 10-7 overall record and a 1-4 mark in Big Sky Conference play. The Vandals are coming off a win and have been particularly strong at neutral sites this season, posting a 9-3 record away from traditional home and road settings. Idaho will look to carry that momentum into conference play as it faces the Bears in Greeley.

ON DECK: Following the Bears two game home stand, UNC will hit the road and take on Idaho State on Thursday, Oct. 15 before heading to Ogden, Utah to face Weber State on Saturday, Oct. 17.
