Noel Leads Bears on Opening Day at Air Force Diving Invitational

USAFA, Colo. - Northern Colorado opened competition Thursday at the Air Force Diving Invitational with four Bears in action during the women's 1-meter prelims at the Cadet Natatorium.

Violet Noel paced the Bears, posting a score of 227.20 to finish 13th in a deep prelim field. Addison Campbell followed in 22nd with a 209.50, while Mireya Ruiz turned in a score of 200.65 to place 27th. Meredith Clabaugh rounded out Northern Colorado's contingent, finishing 36th with 159.20 points.

The Bears will return to the boards Friday with the women's 3-meter competition as the three-day invitational continues in Colorado Springs.
