Bears Conclude Whirlwind Invitational

CHANDLER, Ariz. – Northern Colorado men's golf turned in a solid performance at the Whirlwind Invitational, tying for 10th place with the University of San Francisco. The Bears finished the three-round tournament at two-under par, showing consistency and resilience across the lineup.
Pacing the team was Kaelen Dulany, who put together great performances. He closed with a three-under-par 69 in the final round to finish at nine-under for the tournament, earning a top 10 individual finish. Dulany's strong showing also etched his name in the program's record book, landing in the top 10 for lowest 54-hole individual scores in school history.
Cooper Tate provided a major boost in the final round, carding a five-under-par 67—his best round of the tournament. His impressive finish helped him move into the top 40 individually and capped off a strong bounce-back effort.
Tommie Clark remained steady throughout the week, finishing at five-over par after posting a two-over 74 in the final round.
Takato Imoto delivered a solid final round as well, firing a one-under 71 to finish at three-over for the tournament—an encouraging finish after earlier rounds.
Lucas Raoul rounded out the team scoring with a two-over 74 in the final round.
Two Bears also competed as individuals: Rowan MacDonald carded a three-over-par 75 in the final round, while Thomas Barnes Grimes finished with a five-over 77.
