Softball Duo Named Luna’s Tacos Student-Athlete of the Week

GREELEY, Colo. – Senior catcher Sabrina Javorsky and graduate outfielder Nya Chacon have been named this week's Lunas Tacos Student Athletes of the Week after earning spots on the Big Sky Conference All-Tournament Team, following standout performances in the championship tournament.
Javorsky was a dominant presence both behind and at the plate, posting an impressive .643 batting average (9-for-14). She added a double, a triple, two home runs, eight RBIs, and reached base at a .706 clip.
Chacon, a graduate transfer and experienced leader in the outfield, powered the offense with a .563 average (9-for-16), driving in 11 runs and scoring four. She tallied two doubles, three home runs, and a tournament-high 20 total bases. On defense, she remained flawless, recording five putouts without an error.
This marks the first career All-Tournament selection for both players, a fitting honor to conclude their standout seasons and careers. Their efforts on the field this past week have earned them recognition as Lunas Tacos Student Athletes of the Week.
