Bears Sit Third at “Mo”Morial, Colombine Shines in Top 10

Northern Colorado women’s golf trails only Texas A&M and Abilene Christian after two rounds, led by Samantha Colombine’s consistent play at 6-over par.
COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Northern Colorado women's golf sits in third place after two rounds at the "Mo"Morial, led by a top-10 finish from Samantha Colombine.
Colombine paced the Bears with back-to-back rounds of 75, putting her in fifth at 6-over par. Shehee joined her in the top 20, carding rounds of 75 and 80 to sit at 11-over and tied for 12th overall.
Olivia Salonek bounced back from a tough opening round to fire a second-round 75, climbing to a tie for 23rd at 12-over. Carolina Fallotico remained steady with rounds of 80 and 79, currently tied for 34th.
Rounding out the UNC lineup was Jaci Hartman, who improved by six strokes in round two with a 78 after an 84 in the opening round. She is tied for 42nd heading into the final round.
Northern Colorado posted team scores of 311 and 307 for a 618 total, trailing only #20 Texas A&M and Abilene Christian.
