Bears Climb to Sixth Place After Two Rounds at Big Sky Championships

Colombine Paces Bears with 71; Shehee, Fallotico Also in Top 30 After Round Two
LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – The Northern Colorado women's golf is tied for sixth after carding a 297 in Tuesday's second round of the Big Sky Golf Championships at Wigwam Golf Course (par 71).
The Bears are now tied with Idaho at 31-over (302-297—599) heading into Wednesday's final round.
Freshman Samantha Colombine led the charge, firing a 1-over 71 in round two to jump into 15th place on the individual leaderboard at 5-over for the tournament (76-71—147).
Timbre Shehee followed closely behind, posting a 74 in the second round to sit tied for 18th at 7-over (75-74—149).
Carolina Fallotico is tied for 25th at 9-over after a 77 in round two (74-77—151), while Olivia Salonek rebounded with a 75 and is tied for 30th overall (77-75—152).
Rounding out the lineup, Kailey Bass shot a 79 in her second round.
Sacramento State continues to lead the team standings at 1-under (282-285—567), holding a 10-stroke lead over second-place Montana State.
The Bears will tee off Wednesday morning for the final round, looking to close strong and climb further up the leaderboard.
