Chacon Named Big Sky Co-Player of the Week

The outfielder’s performance helped to snap the Bears 11-game losing streak
FARMINGTON, Utah – Outfielder Nya Chacon was named Big Sky Co-Player of the Week after her performance against Santa Clara this weekend.
Chacon led the Bears to a 2-2 record this weekend going 7-of-13 from the plate for a .538 batting average, .600 on base percentage, and .923 slugging percentage.
The Loveland, Colo. native totaled three extra base hits for seven RBIs while adding 12 putouts from the outfield with no errors.
This is Chacon's first Player of the Week award in 2025.
