Bears Set for NCAA Championships

UNC Sends Four to Philadelphia
GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado concludes the 2024-25 campaign at the NCAA Championships Thursday, March 20 - Saturday, March 22 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
On the Air
The ESPN family of networks will carry the entire NCAA Championships.
ESPNU will carry the morning sessions, with a crew of Shawn Kenney, Rock Harrison, Tim Johnson and Quint Kessenich.
Friday night's session will be televised on ESPN2, while the second session and championship round (session six) will air on ESPN. Mike Couzens, Jordan Burroughs and Kessenich will be on the call for all three evening sessions and will be joined by Harrison on Thursday and Daniel Cormier the following two nights.
Shane Sparks and Trent Hidlay provide MatCast coverage on ESPN+ until the championship round.

Championship Schedule
The NCAA Championships are divided into six sessions. Each day will consist of a morning and evening session. A look at the full schedule (all times MT):

Session 2: Second Round, Consolation First Round – 5 p.m. on ESPN (Eight Mats)
Friday, March 21
Session 3: Quarterfinals, Consolation Second & Third Rounds – 10 a.m. on ESPNU (Eight Mats)
Session 4: Semifinals, Consolation Fourth & Fifth Rounds – 6 p.m. on ESPN2 (Six Mats)
Saturday, March 22
Session 5: Consolation Semifinals, Placement Matches – 9 a.m. on ESPNU (Four Mats)
Session 6: Championship Matches – 5 p.m. on ESPN (One Mat)

About the Bears
After a year off pursuing his Olympic dream, Andrew Alirez (16-1) returns to the NCAA Championships for the fifth time. He won the 2023 NCAA Championship at 141 and looks to become a two-time champion for the Bears.
Stevo Poulin (20-3) earned his third trip to nationals after an impressive 17-3 campaign in 2024-25. He fell one win shy of earning All-American honors last season.
Dominick Serrano (21-2) earned his second trip to the championships with a Big 12 Championship in 2025, becoming the first Bear to win a Big 12 Championship at 133 pounds.
Vincent Zerban (18-4) collected his third trip to the nationals, with a Big 12 Championship on his resume this time. He looks to improve on the last two championship appearances, finishing just outside the top eight and All-American status.
