The Duo Won Individual Big 12 Titles
GREELEY, Colo. – Dominick Serrano and Vincent Zerban earned Co-Luna's Taco UNC Student-Athlete of the Week honors with their performances at the Big 12 Championships, the athletics communications staff announced Monday.
Dominick Serrano and Vincent Zerban won the first Big 12 Championships at their respective weight classes Saturday at BOK Arena.
Serrano cruised to an 11-4 victory in the 133-pound championship bout, while Zerban rode a fast start to the title at 157 pounds.
The duo helped Northern Colorado record its best finish in program history, totaling 79.5 points and placing fifth.
