GREELEY, Colo. - The Northern Colorado men's basketball team (18-7, 10-2 Big Sky) are set to face Sacramento State (6-18, 2-9 Big Sky) in a Big Sky Conference matchup on Thursday, February 13 at 6 p.m. MST/7 p.m. PST in Sacramento, California.

The Bears last faced the Hornets on January 18, earning a 68-64 win in Greeley. The four-point margin was their smallest in the past five victories.

The Bears have been impressive this season, boasting a strong 10-2 record in conference play and are currently tied for first place in the Big Sky standings. Northern Colorado is leading all Big Sky teams in scoring, averaging 79.4 points per game. Isaiah Hawthorne and Langston Reynolds are averaging 17.3 and 16.7 points per game in conference play.

A key factor in the game will be the battle from beyond the arc. Northern Colorado ranks second in the Big Sky, shooting 39.0% from three-point range, while Sacramento State sits last in the league at 30.5%.

LAST TIME OUT
Northern Colorado rallied from an early nine-point deficit to defeat Montana State 73-66 on Saturday, completing a season sweep. Jaron Rillie recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Quinn Denker led the Bears (18-7, 10-2 Big Sky) with 17 points. Brock Wisne's layup with 3:43 left gave UNC the lead for good, and Rillie's late jumper secured the win. The Bears remain tied with Montana atop the Big Sky standings.

The Bears will cap off their west coast road trip with a stop in Portland to take on the Vikings on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. MST/2 p.m. PST.
