UNC In Ninth After First Day of BGCU Intercollegiate
LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – Jaci Hartman led Northern Colorado after the first day of the Bowling Green Intercollegiate on the blue course at Wigwam Golf Club (par 70/6,373 yards) Tuesday.
The Burneyville, Okla., freshman posted a 78-76—154 over the 36 holes, tied with five others in 18th place. She tallied four birdies over the two rounds.
UNC completed the day in ninth and totaled a 310-316—326, five strokes behind Butler in eighth and four swings less than Utah Valley in tenth. UTEP and Abilene Christian ended the 36 holes tied at the top of the leaderboard with a 606.
Kailey Bass finished in a six-way tie for 35th place with a 78-79—157.
Timbre Shehee carded a 77-81—158, even with four others in 41st.
Samantha Colombine inked 81-80—161, while Carolina Fallotico rounded out the scoring with a 77-85—162.
Playing as an individual, Olivia Salonek netted a 79-80—159.
Action resumes with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
