FARMINGTON, Utah – Northern Colorado's Quinn Denker has been named the Big Sky Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week following standout performances against Air Force and Regis.
The graduate guard continued his elite early-season form, totaling 38 points, 13 assists, and a .687 field-goal percentage across 54 minutes of action. His steady playmaking and scoring have propelled UNC to its best start since the 2018-19 campaign.
Denker's production has been among the best in the conference and the nation:
18.3 PPG – 2nd in the Big Sky
6.5 APG – 1st in the Big Sky / 15th in NCAA
52 total assists, directly contributing to 28% of UNC's total scoring
Four games with 20+ points; seven games with 5+ assists
+2.6 assist-to-turnover ratio – 4th in the Big Sky
Top-10 in the league in free-throw percentage (.833) and minutes (31.5 MPG)
This marks the second weekly honor of Denker's career, both coming in back-to-back weeks. He is the first Big Sky student-athlete to earn consecutive weekly awards since Idaho State's Dylan Darling achieved the feat last season.
