GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado head coach Mike Anderson announced the Bears' 2026 schedule, unveiling another challenging slate that tests the team throughout both non-conference and conference play. Anderson emphasized that constructing a demanding schedule like this reflects the program's ongoing goal to face strong competition every season.
UNC will open the 2026 campaign with a 19-game road trip, beginning with a four-game series at Wichita State Feb. 13–15. From there, the Bears travel south to Albuquerque for a four-game weekend set against New Mexico Feb. 20–22.
The long road swing continues the following week as Northern Colorado heads to St. George, Utah, for a four-game series at Utah Tech Feb. 27–Mar. 1. To continue the road trip, the Bears will head to Las Vegas, Nevada to play UNLV Mar 3-4. Following their midweek contests, the Bears will head to Provo, Utah, for a five-game match up with Utah Valley Mar 6-9, completing the team's opening trip before finally returning to Greeley.
UNC opens its home slate and Summit League play at Jackson Field with a three-game series against St. Thomas Mar. 13–15. The opening weekend marks the Bears' first opportunity to play in front of their home crowd after more than a month on the road.
Following the home stand, Northern Colorado hits the road once more for its first midweek games of the season, heading to Fayetteville, Arkansas, for a two-game showdown with No. 3 Arkansas Mar. 17–18—a marquee match up that will test the Bears early.
Conference play resumes the next weekend as UNC travels to Omaha, Nebraska, for a three-game set against Nebraska Omaha Mar. 20–22.
The Bears then return to Jackson Field to host South Dakota State in a three-game Summit League series Mar. 27–29, closing out a busy opening stretch of the season that features a mix of high-profile non conference opponents and early conference tests.
UNC will head south of Greeley and face Air Force on Mar 31 for mid-week match up.
The upcoming stretch of the season features a packed slate of conference and non-conference match ups throughout April, May, and June. The team opens the month on the road with a three-game series at Oral Roberts in Tulsa, Oklahoma from April 3–5, before traveling back to USAFA to face Air Force on April 8.
The Bears then return home to Greeley for a three-game Summit League series against North Dakota State at Jackson Field, April 10–12. Another road series follows as the team heads to St. Paul, Minnesota for three games at St. Thomas, April 17–19. After a midweek home game against Air Force on April 22, the Bears travel to Brookings for a three-game set at South Dakota State, April 24–26, then return home to host Air Force on April 28.
Omaha comes to Greeley for a home series May 1–3 before the Bears hit the road once more for a three-game rematch at North Dakota State, May 8–10. The regular season concludes at Jackson Field with a home series against Oral Roberts from May 14–16.
Postseason play begins with the Summit League Tournament in Omaha from May 20–23, followed by NCAA Regional action May 29–June 1 and the NCAA Super Regional from June 5–8.
The season culminates with the NCAA College World Series in Omaha, scheduled for June 15–22.
