Bears Welcome New Signee to the Program

GREELEY, Colo. – The Northern Colorado wrestling program is proud to announce the addition of Mason Koehler as its newest signee. Koehler will join the Bears wrestling family and make an impact on the program as it continues to build for the future.
MEET THE SIGNEE
Mason Koehler | Glenwood, Iowa | 197 | Glenwood HS
Mason Koehler joins the Bears from Glenwood, Iowa. He is the son of Kelly and Shawn Koehler and has three siblings: McKenna, Max, and Miley. Koehler will graduate from Glenwood High School in the spring.
During an outstanding high school career, Koehler established himself as one of the top competitors in the state. He captured the Iowa Class 215-pound State Championship and earned Second Team All-State honors as a defensive lineman. A two-time Fargo Greco-Roman All-American, he also made history at Glenwood High School by setting the program's all-time career pin record and the single-season pin record.
Koehler chose Northern Colorado because he loves the coaching staff, the team and the community. It's a place that feels like home and believes that it's an opportunity where he can succeed and be the best person he can be. His career goal is to become a national champion.
Outside of wrestling, Mason enjoys lifting, golfing, fishing, and playing the guitar.
