GREELEY, Colo. — Northern Colorado women's basketball (5–2) returns to the Bank of Colorado Arena on Friday, November 28, as the Bears welcome Chadron State for a non-conference match up. Tip off is slated for 6 p.m. MT.
The Bears come back to Greeley after a challenging three-game road swing that showcased the team's growth and grit. UNC picked up impressive victories over Campbell and DePaul before falling with Big 12 foe Arizona in a competitive contest.
Across the trip, Northern Colorado displayed strong ball movement, defensive intensity, and the kind of resilience that has fueled their promising start. They'll look to carry that momentum into Friday night as they aim to secure another win at home and improve their record in Bank of Colorado Arena to 4–1.
Friday's game will also highlight an important community initiative. Fans who bring a canned food item will receive free admission, courtesy of Allo Fiber. All donations will benefit the Bear Pantry and the Weld County Food Bank, helping provide meals and essential resources to individuals and families across the region.
Through seven games, Northern Colorado is averaging 71.6 points per contest while shooting 42.6 percent from the field. The Bears have been a force on the boards, pulling down nearly 40 rebounds per game, and have shown a commitment to unselfish play with an average of 14 assists.
With balanced scoring and consistent defensive effort, UNC will look to bounce back from their recent matchup and return to the win column.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
