PREVIEW: Bears Host Idaho in Home Opener Saturday at Butler-Hancock Pool

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado swimming & diving is set to host Idaho for their first home dual of the 2025-26 season on Saturday, October 11 at 10 a.m. at the Butler-Hancock Swimming Pool.
ABOUT THE MEET
The meet is free for fans. For fans unable to attend, the meet will be livestreamed on the Northern Colorado YouTube Channel.
SCOUTING THE VANDALS
Idaho is currently sitting in seventh of 11 teams in the MPSF dual rankings with 551.81 points. In championship rankings, the Vandals sit in sixth with 481.53 points.
LAST TIME OUT
Northern Colorado wrapped up the 2025 Front Range Invite with a strong showing in Denver, highlighted by Ellyson Lombardi's victory in the 100-yard butterfly; her second individual win of the weekend. The Bears added several top finishes, including a third-place performance from Martina Yuki Trionfetti in the 100 backstroke and an eighth-place swim from Kyra Rabess in the 200 freestyle. UNC also posted a sixth-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay to close out a successful weekend of competition.
The Bears are first in the MPSF dual rankings with 626.40 points and fourth in championship rankings with 515.50.
UP NEXT
The Bears will travel to New Mexico State on Saturday, October 25 for a dual meet scheduled for 10 a.m. MDT.
