Bears Earn Tenth Place Finish at Ron Moore Intercollegiate

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – Northern Colorado completed their third tournament of the fall season on Sunday afternoon, securing a 10th-place finish at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate. The competitive event, hosted in Colorado marks the team's third top 10 finish of the fall season.
Timbre Shehee led the Bears with a strong showing, firing an even-par 72 in the final round. Her steady play throughout the three-day tournament earned her a top 10 finish, placing eighth overall at three-under-par. The result marks her third top 10 performance of the fall, continuing her impressive form.
Samantha Colombine posted her best round of the tournament on Sunday with a one-under 71, to finish on the leader board tied for 30th. Her performance highlighted a solid finish to the weekend.
Olivia Salonek shot a 77 (+5) in the final round and ended the tournament in a tie for 52nd, while Jaci Hartman carded six-over 78 and Carolina Fallotico closed out the team's scoring with an eight-over 80.
The Bears will look to carry this experience forward as they prepare for the remaining events on their fall schedule.
UP NEXT
The Bears are scheduled to travel to Las Cruces, New Mexico, to participate in the Golf Iconic Classic, taking place October 13–15.
