Langston Reynolds laid in the game-winner with 13 seconds remaining and the Bears corralled a missed attempt by Idaho State with four ticks left.
Reynolds led all scorers with 27 points, converting 13 of 15 from the field, with a career-high eight assists.
Brock Wisne added 21 points, converting 10 of 13 from the field. Reynolds and Wisne became the first duo to register at least 20 points for the Bears in the same game this season.
Reynolds and Jaron Rillie registered eight assists in the same game, the first time two Bears accomplished the feat in one contest.

UNC-MSU

It is the 67^th all-time meeting between the teams, with UNC trailing 22-44.
The teams split the two games last year, with both sides defending their home floor.
UNC fell 90-81 in Bozeman, Montana Jan. 13.
The Bears 73-70 victory over the Bobcats in Greeley Feb. 8, 2024, snapped a six-game losing streak in the series.
Northern Colorado last defeated Montana State in Bozeman March 7, 2020, a 75-61 triumph.

REYNOLDS ON A STREAK

Junior guard Langston Reynolds notched his 14th double-digit scoring performance of the season in the win over Idaho State.
Reynolds tallied 27 points in the victory, recording at least 10 in every game he competed in this season.
He inked his fifth 20-point performance of the season, including three in his last four games.
Reynolds notched his league-leading third Big Sky weekly honor after helping the Bears to wins over Weber State and Idaho State last week.
The Denver, Colorado native ranks in the top 10 in the Big Sky in assists (50), assists per game (3.6), field goals (101), field-goal attempts (159), field-goal percentage (63.5), free-throws (45), free-throw attempts (67), minutes (32:03), points (253) and points-per-game (18.1).

DEFENSIVE ON THE OFFENSIVE GLASS

KenPom ranks UNC fourth in defensive rebounding percentage at 23.4.
The Bears held Idaho State, which averaged a nation-leading 15.1 offensive boards to 11 in the overtime victory.
UNC allowed double-digit offensive rebounds in six games this season and held opponents to seven or fewer in the other nine games.
