Bears Set for Air Force Diving Invitational

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado diving will compete in the Air Force Diving Invitational on Jan. 30 – Feb. 1.
The Bears join Denver, Wyoming, Colorado Mesa, Colorado, Air Force, Missouri, BYU, and Cal-Baptist. Thursday and Friday's sessions will being at 10:30 a.m., and Saturday's session will begin at 8 a.m. Finals will begin one hour and 15 minutes following the conclusion of the preliminary sessions. The meet will be streamed on the Air Force Falcons YouTube Channel.
To open the meet, 1-meter will highlight Thursday's slate. On Friday, the Bears will compete on the 3-meter. Competition ends Saturday with the platform.
LAST TIME OUT
Madison Berg excelled in the dual against Colorado State last Friday, taking first place on both the 1-meter (294.25) and 3-meter (293.70) platforms. Mireya Ruiz placed fourth on the 1-meter (222.15), while Violet Noel secured third on the 3-meter (249.05).
UP NEXT
The Bears swimming and diving team will compete on Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. at home against GCU.
CSCAA NIC 2025
Northern Colorado swimming and dive will be eyeing the 2025 CSCAA National Invitational Championship, set to take place at the FAST Facility in Ocala, Florida from March 13-15, 2025. The event offers Division I swimmers and divers who have achieved B/Zone standards a chance to compete beyond the NCAA Championships. With a chance to qualify through automatic entry by winning their event at a conference championship or by meeting the CSCAA 'A' standard, the Bears are primed for another strong postseason showing. Teams can also enter relays with their fastest times, even if those times don't meet the qualifying standard.
