Berg Leads Bears on Opening Day of Air Force Diving Invite

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Northern Colorado diving squad competed on the 1-meter springboard on the first day of the Air Force Diving Invitational.

The invitational features teams from Missouri, BYU, Wyoming, Denver, Cal. Baptist, Colorado Mesa, and Colorado State.

Senior Madison Berg paced the Bears, finishing 21^st of 40 entries with a score of 217.80 over six dives.

Freshman Violet Noel finished 30^th, scoring 191.90. Junior Meredith Clabaugh placed 34^th with 183.25. Freshman Mireya Ruiz finished 39^th with 171.15.

On Friday, the Bears will compete on the 3-meter springboard, with competition starting at 10:30 a.m. The meet will be streamed on the Air Force YouTube Channel.
